It’s been a long time since we said anything and since outward communication is not really our strong point I thought I’d take the chance to try to break that particular habit and maybe let you into our little world a bit. Not that there’s much to say; Jon has been ill all week and hence rehearsal/recording has been at a bit of a standstill, though I have been holed up in front of the computer for most of the day throwing various things at a wall and seeing what has stuck. Nothing much, sadly.

In better news, we have two gigs coming up: one very soon and one a bit further out. The first is on Friday 4th March 2011, supporting Vessels at the Haymakers, Chesterton Road in Cambridge. The second is on the 12th of May supporting Anta at the Portland Arms, also in Cambridge. We don’t travel far (though seriously if you would like us to come and play at something/somewhere don’t be afraid to ask: hello@cityseventeen.co.uk).

All being well we should be rehearsing tonight, if Jon’s okay again, and maybe I’ll try and take some pictures or something (though Chris does it a lot better than me).

True Grit is amazing, by the way.
